As an immunologist, my research focuses on elucidating the intricate interplay between the gut microbiota and the immune system, particularly the pathobiont-T interactions during the onset of inflammatory bowel diseases (IBDs). My current project revolves around establishing a humanized mouse model that integrates both the human T cell system and gut microbiota. This model promises to be a potent tool not only for advancing our research objectives but also for facilitating a wide array of collaborative translational efforts. Beyond my scientific pursuits aimed at harmonizing the gut environment, I find solace in activities such as yoga, swimming, and playing the guitar, which bring tranquility to my life.
